Rocky's Horror: Grisolano Out
Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo has suffered a blow to his campaign for California Attorney General. Sources are telling us that his chief consultant, Larry Grisolano, of The Strategy Group, has left the campaign. No further details are available.Delgadillo will go up against former California Governor and current Mayor of Oakland Jerry Brown for the Democratic nomination for the AG post.
Grisolano previously was campaign manager for Gray Davis' failed effort to fight being recalled and for the no on Proposition 75 effort in the recent special elections.

Rocky should just endorse Mayor Brown and get it over with.

Ann D'Amato knows what she's doing; if you can't work for her, then you're not doing it right.
Just ask Terree Bowers, Josh Pertula, Matt Szabo and Gabriel Sandoval.
Is she a lawyer? How much is she getting paid? Didn't Rocky get her a gig in addition to her City salary?
D'Amato is not a lawyer. In addition to what must be a hefty pension, Rocky got the City to pay her $175,000 a year to hold his hand.

Brown is going to kick the crap out of Rocky.
larry is the only consultant to leave. the rest of the team is in place.
The problem is that with his press is going to stifle fundraising, except, of course, for the eager slumlords.
The Delgadillo campaign is on the ropes in the first round. Rockard did a lot of mouthing off at the weigh-in, but once the bell rang and it was time to swing, he was as nimble as a man whose shoelaces are knotted together and whose gloves are on the wrong hands. His opponent hasn't even had the opportunity to throw a jab because Rockard's been so busy fending off blows from the LA Times and his own staff. Now he peers back at his corner through puffy eyeslots to see his coach and cut man slinking down the corridor. They're off to find a contender . . . cuz this Rocky ain't hangin' til round three.
