Mayor Dick Murphy resigned today as mayor of San Diego.

Replace the words Dick Murphy with Jim Hahn and you have the same headline -- federal investigations can get annoying i suppose.

Last time I looked it was Jim Hahn's administration that was under investigation by federal authorities.
Villaraigosa can't resign as councilmember -- he NEVER STARTED THE JOB IN THE FIRST PLACE!

Its obvious Chief Parker, Ace, Parke and MEAT are all running scared otherwise why repeatedly post these negative stories. The Murphy was rated by Times magazine one of the worst mayors. Just compare the records and no debate. Hahn is much more experience and qualified. Antonio has no record and no accomplishments. Guaranteed he will have his assembly record on his TV ads cause he has nothing accomplished as 2 yrs councilman. Hey Chief Parker where's your investigation on the non existent 80neighborhood watches?
This is as close as you folks are going to get to, "dumping Hahn" -- SAN DIEGO. Sorry you're stuck with such as sad sack wannabe public servant to oust Jimmy... ADV's empty suit just isn't cutting it in this century.
Should've worked harder for someone who had a chance early on -- Hertberg or even Parks could have bumped Hahn out. But not Tony V. -- he's poison to one-third of the electorate (and losing ground on all fronts). Trading South L.A. and a piece of the Valley for a larger chunk of what got him so close last time.
Poor baby. Get over it ADV, there's always county supervisor, someday?
