CD 11 - The Other Race?
Anyone got juice on CD 11? Talk about running under the radar and missing in action. Two of them can't even be found on the net... We do get this small blurb from West LA Online...

This is the city: Los Angeles, California. I work here. I'm an ex-mayor. Los Angeles is a magnet for people from all over the world. Some of them run for public office. Inevitably some of them stray from the golden rule and rule for those that have the gold. That's when I go to work. My name is Yorty. I'm a dead pol.

You can also find Angela Reddock's site at www.angelareddock.org. I don't know if Flora has a site!

She does and a pretty good one.

Rosendahl's site has the most substance. www.billrosendahl.com.
Reddock actually launched her site before the two major candidates, last summer. Rosendahl launched his in October. Krisiloff not until a week or two ago.

Today Miscikowski endorsed Krisiloff for City Council.

Before Miscikowski's endorsement of Krisiloff, my vote was for Rosendahl, with Krisiloff and Reddock in a dead heat for second. Now it's Rosendahl 1, Reddock 2, and Krisiloff a fading 3. Miscikowski and her ties to development have helped turn the Westside into the 405. Traffic is a joke, and she kept pushing Playa Vista and the LAX expansion, against the vast majority of her constituents' wishes. I see the blogs on Rosendahl's traffic announcement, checked out his proposals on his site,
http://www.billrosendahl.com/Articles/Traffic.html
and it looks good. Hopefully he gets in and can do something about PV2 and LAX before it's too late...

Traffic didn't get bad on CM's watch and neither did Playa Vista. That was under the previous councilwoman, Ruth Galanter. And according to Rosendahl's endorsement list, Galanter supports him.
Rosendahl is running an "I'll promise you anything" campaign. Multi-billion dollar traffic mitigation. Putting a halt to an already approved Playa Vista phase 2. Stopping LAX. He'll saying everything people want to hear but doesn't have a realistic plan to get anything done. He's a former Adelphia Cable executive. That says it all. They're bankrupt. And Bill's plans would do the same for Los Angeles.
I do agree that Reddock is a strong alternative. But when it comes down to real experience and tangible accomplishments in this district, Krisiloff is head-and-shoulders above Rosendahl.
