Its back to work day 2013 for all at 200 North Spring Street as many tales of New Years adventures will make up the majority of the morning chisme sessions around the City Hall coffee makers.
No doubt the top topic of commentary will be Mayor Antonio Villar's "South of the Border activities" with fellow hard-partying Latino Charlie Sheen.
For someone who is looking eastwards in the hope of garnering a federal pay check in the second term of President Barack "H" Obama Administration, his weekend in Cabo San Lucas may have served as a resume enhancement, or in a normal world, a career killer. This especially when your new found drinking buddy, is making homophobic comments on video. We wonder if first cousin and Assembly Speaker John Perez may have some comments on that?
But in light of the recent behavior by the likes of Andrea AlarCON, CD 14 City Councilman Jose Huizar, City Clowncilman Central Committee Strongman Herb "Mini Amin" Wesson and again by Mayor Antonio Villar, we must wonder if voters will care to return mature, ethical leadership to City Hall in 2013.

You haven't posted the winner of the Ass Clown Award yet, but it's probably too late for me to vote against Phil. He's a nothing, and I would think that in order to win you have to rise to the point of being someone more important who is an ass clown.
Bessides I think all those Phil posting are coming from one person who has a man-crush on him. Nothing else could explain the amount of time this person spends fixating on such a non-entity.
Instead, you should consider Scott Johnson who has this remarkable vehicle for influening public policy, but who continues to write in a style that makes it difficult for most people to understand what he's trying to say.
Or Herb Wesson who would be happier as a strongman of some third world country.
the only one who has a man-crush on Phil is the one who continuously defends him.
to phils credit, he DID get the Republican nomination for schiff's congressional district. that makes his other dopey actions like endorsing nuch while admittedly not vetting him relevant. and didn't show up with any knowledge of legislation that schiff worked on, even tho he bellyached to be invited to the debate. so hat's off to phil for being nominated. but he's def ass clown material for blowing it.
but you make a great case for red spot to win, given that he messes up every day, sometimes twice a day.
Congrats to Phil for getting the nom, but is obviously an ass clown for blowing it as commenter above wrote. Higby is an ass clown too for his blind love.
