Zuma Dogg LIVE Show for Operator11.com

You've heard Zuma Dogg speak of his new state-of-the-art LIVE TV studios that he will be educating the City, County and Community about. It's the best community town hall forum and education tool that I hope LAUSD and Charters start to use. (ZD says this can be used to put the top teachers and students districtwide, online (ala YouTube) for students to access as online tutorials, and more.)

Here's a show from Saturday Night that someone wanted me to produce for new people watching across the country and world, for the first time, on o11.com.

Go to Operator11.com (or just o11.com) and sign up for an account if you have a webcam. Then we can cut LIVE to YOU in upcoming Town Hall Forums broadcast LIVE here on Mayor Sam. (Like radio stations cut to phone calls, we can cut to people who have webcams! )

Here's a ZD variety show that includes my Stern apperance, Board of Supervisors clips AND ALL NEW ZD at LAUSD from Tuesday, with way more LAUSD in the next show (The mic level is kinda low on my mic on this one, but this is a fun show that demonstrates the techonology.)

What do Zumma Dogg and Mayor V have in common?

1) They are both Media Whores.
2) Neither one can dance.
3) They both flunked school albeit one flunked elementary school and one flunked law school.
4) Neither one knows anything about L.A. politics nor what is good for the city of L.A.
5) Two clowns who even the circus doesn’t want.
6) Did I mention they are both Media Whores?

Hey-I like the ZD song. He does dance better than Timberlake.

ZD-Would you start rapping about the LA politics? Maybe you can make your City Council public comments in rap.

Mediwhores? Who in the media, or in an elected public office, isn't?

By the by: how do you know the circus doesn't want them?

12:36am,

Thanks for the idea to rap about politics. I think that is a GREAT idea, as a way of expressing a first amendment speech. I tried it a couple times, but as you know City Council has their own set of first amendment rules so (Price is Right Loser Sounder) "Whomp, whomp, whomp, whomp....(deflated) wooooomp!" Garcetti violates the constitution and he cuts me off.

Here was an example:

"I'm Zuma Dogg...Better do what your supposed ta, don't make me have to call Mayor Antonio Villagrossa."

Now I am allowed to speak those words...but as soon as i put a liitle inflection/sing-song rap tone I guess it becomes illegal?

Maybe I'll try it again and see if things have changed. If not...maybe some attorneys will be watching the live feed on City TV 35.

3:34pm,

I should delete your comment and sue you for libel for saying "neither one can dance." How DARE you!??! Maybe you can attack me on my politics, but not my choreography. (That's one area where I happen to be flawless.)

I remember during some public meetings, they would provide an interpreter when there were several Spanish speaking speakers.

When don’t you ask for an interpreter when you sing or rap your comments?

And you can even offer to provide your own interpreter. How can they refuse?

6:24PM,

You know what i don't like aboutthe spanish interpreter policy at city hall meetings? They get DOUBLE the time for the english AND spanish. so not only does it take up twice as much time, but they get to address people in TWO languages. I have asked eric for an interpretation into Spanish and he refused. maybe i should ask again with the ACLU watching.

5:54 Friend: Thanks! Fun stuff coming. when i get a webcam, imagine broadcasting the meetings LIVE with commentary and behind the scenes to enhance the TV 35 broadcast!

The reason must be when it is in English, you don’t need an interpreter anymore. I guess English is the unofficial official language?

And the reason why they stop your rapping or singing during public comment must be that they couldn’t understand you and therefore you are deemed disruptive. And that is exactly why you can have an interpreter translating your rapping and singing into “Normal” Spoken English, so that they will understand you.

Please also tell them that you could express yourself much much better and much more effectively only when rapping and singing, just like many yongsters nowadays. If they force you to use “Normal” spoken English, you will be handicapped. It would just be like forcing a Spanish speaking person to speak English! They won’t do that, will they?

What a child.

Sitting up all night trying to figure out how to be more disruptive.

Well, Mr. Smarty Pants, this thread is now exhibit "A" in the City's suit against you when you are deemed "disruptive" by the President of the Council and a suit ensues...

12:12am,

i hope this thread DOES make it into court. the poster brought up a good issue on how City Council violates First Amendment protected speech, and is allowing SOME people to have more influence by being allowed to address people in two languages with double the amount of time. I don't think I said anywhere that I had to be disruptive over it? If I try it, and Eric feels it is in violation of the Federal Constitution, he can warn me and order me to stop.

Then I can either choose to stop and sue in court over civil rights violations, or I can continue and see what happens. THEN, MAYBE there will be a disruption. SO KEEP HOLDING YOUR BREATH LOSER!
