A Formerly "Fishwrap of Record (on Spring Street)" Goes Big On ......, "The LA (of or de) Leon Times Era"

The formerly "Fishwrap of Record on Spring Street (aka. LA Times)" repeats CD-14 Agenda Journalism History, via its Endorsement of Temporary City Council Candidate (and 2022 Mayoral Aspirant) Kevin Alexander Leon as the failed 2003 "LA Antonio (Villar) Times" Incarnation, gives way to "The LA (of or de) Leon Times Era" of subjective reporting ............, at the lost to communal ethics.
The Wreckage of Journalistic Integrity on Spring Street.
** Blogger's Notes: Please pardon the momentary pause ......., as we continue to absorb a CD-14 Agenda Journalism Deja Vu Moment, compliments of the formerly "Fishwrap of Record on Spring Street (aka. LA Times)"
In 2002, a then CD-14 City Councilman Nick Pacheco who was seeking a Second Term after his 1999 Grass Roots Upset of the South Pasadena's (and Establishment Carpetbagger) Victor Griego, was the Incumbent Impediment in the path of the ruthless Political Machine, seeking a temporary Officeholder Position for failed 2001 Mayoral Candidate Antonio Villaraigosa, to replenish resources for a 2005 Rematch against, then Mayor James Hahn.
At Pacheco's Campaign Kickoff in a Second Floor Office near the intersection of Cesar Chavez and Soto, those in attendance (including this writer), will remember a Incumbent who spoke openly about the impending battle and somberly noted the vast resources being massed to remove him ........, including a supposed objective "Newspaper of Record".

History will note that the LA Times attacks on Pacheco and his links to Boyle Height's La Colectiva Non-Profit, was exploited by its Endorsed Candidate of Choice Villaraigosa, helping with his small margin of victory, setting the stage for his successful 2005 Mayoral Victory .........., and resulting in "The Reign of a Failure Mayor".
Below, as a Public Service to the CD-14 Electorate, we provide a deconstructing retort to the now, El Segundo-located Stenographer of Choice for the LA Political Machine, in the interest of preventing a Huizar 2.0 (if only temporary) Administration of the ..........., CD-9 born, Kevin Alexander Leon-----Scott Johnson.

Excerpt #1: The main criticism from his opponents is that De León is a “professional politician” whose many years of service at a high level of government prove that he is interested in this job only as a perch to run for mayor in 2022.\
Response: Kevin Alexander (of or de) Leon stated on multiple occasions (in Garvanza and other locations) that he plans on running for Mayor in 2022 and has offer ex and current Councilman Jose Huizar Staffers, continuing employment, in return for campaign support.

Excerpt #2: Some bitterness still lingers in this district from the short tenure of Councilman Antonio Villaraigosa, who swooped into office in 2003 by unseating an incumbent councilman only to turn around and run successfully for mayor in 2005. That’s certainly a possibility with De León, just as it is possible any other member of the City Council might decide to run for mayor or take another job. But that’s speculation, and not a good reason for rejecting a highly qualified candidate.
Response: The broken pledge in 2003 by Failure Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and the ethical disgrace of his anointed successor Jose Huizar, is the motivation for the "Serve Your Term Pledge (noted in today's LA Times)" initiated by Candidate Raquel Zamora and signed by all, but one Candidate ........., who belittled this as silly.

Excerpt #3: De León’s particular strength is envisioning ambitious solutions to major problems, then building alliances and using his political savvy to get them adopted.
Response: Like disgraced Jose Huizar, the former California State Senate Pro Tempore Kevin Alexander (of or de) Leon, was not above placing paramount his political ambitions, when crafting questionable alliances to promote the political aspirations of his Sacramento allies, as witness from the excerpt pictured above from the FBI Affidavit regarding the Montebello Calderon Political Corruption Investigation .........., that had Leon (and former State Senator Darrell Steinberg)...... as  "Persons of Interest".
Excerpt #4: If elected, it will be his job to see that district neighborhoods are getting their share of city services, making sure that streets are paved and clean, and balancing the sometimes-competing interests of businesses and residents and developers. We hope he will do that.
Response: As exampled in the Campaign Contributions noted below, CD-14 Constituents will find it outlandish that the LA Times Editorial Board would stated what it did, when they should have been condemning the Leon Campaign for accepting donations from notorious Southeast LA Political Miscreant Mario Beltran and his allies (pictured above), who were alleged combatants at the Contract Cities Conference Brawl in Indian Wells.
