Notes on the Pre-Municipal Election 2017 Scorecard for Sunday

With two days before Tuesday's Los Angeles Municipal Elections, discerning CD-7 Observers (and Mayor Sam) are QUESTIONING embattled Candidate "Big Oil (and Gas) Monica" Rodriguez's veracity, regarding whether City Council (and supposed NEUTRAL CD-7 Caretaker)  President Herb "Mini Amin" Wesson formally ENDORSED her Campaign. ** Plus notes on "John/Jay Handal", Measure S, CD-5, CD-9, and the latest Mayor's Race Poll
Los Angeles City Council President Herman "Mini Amin" Wesson.
** Blogger's Notes: With respects, and in remembrance of the late, great LA Times Sports Writer Allan "Mud" Malamud, its time for our "Notes on the Pre-Municipal Elections 2017 Scorecard" as 35 hours and 56 minutes (7:04 PM on Sunday evening) remains before the opening of Polling Places on Tuesday----Scott Johnson.
** Did HE ......, or did HE not? That is the question directed at embattled CD-7 City Council Candidate Monica Rodriguez .......... and City Council President Herman "Mini Amin" Wesson regarding a supposed ENDORSEMENT of "BIG OIL (and GAS) Monica" by the current (and alleged Neutral) Caretaker of CD-7.
** Surveys says Mayor Eric Gar-SOFT-ee 50%, President Donald Trump 53%. Its true that Second Term-seeking MIA Mayor Gar-SOFT-ee, garnered ONLY 50% support of potential voters in a Loyola Marymount University Mayoral Election Poll (with close to 40% undecided) made public late last week ............. while President Donald J. Trump netted a 53% Approval Rating in the latest Rasmussen Survey.
** Identical Political Twins (with the same ethically-challenged, UBER-ego persona):
First, Jay Handal of the West Los Angeles Neighborhood Council and SHILL for the "NO on Measure S Campaign" who's ..............,

Sen Gennaro Cafe, located at 140 South Barrington Place in Brentwood Village, was cited by the state on Jan. 25 (2012) for its second violation of selling alcohol without a license and an eviction notice dated Jan. 30 is posted on its front door. John Carr, spokesman for the California Department of Alcohol Beverage Control, told Patch Wednesday Sen Gennaro's license to serve alcohol was revoked on Feb. 12, 2012 for not paying the annual fee renewal. It was issued Dec. 16, 1987. "Once a location doesn’t have a license, we take any disciplinary action against someone [serving] without a license," he said, noting they forward the misdemeanor complaints to the district attorney's office. "We received complaints in the community about this location," he said.

Second, former 1993 CD-11 City Council Candidate John Handal II, who was the subject of a LA Times missive, which disclosed ...............,

Documents filed in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Los Angeles list 10 court-ordered judgments against Handal in cases involving a former business partner, a landlord, a bank, an insurance company and a number of food and beverage suppliers. Beyond that, there are dozens of claims by other creditors, including bills from a variety of businesses that provided goods and services to the restaurant, which is still operating under federal bankruptcy protection. But by far the biggest debt is $270,000 plus court costs and interest to repay what Handal confirmed in an interview was his "misappropriation" and "unauthorized use of funds" from his mother's trust account.

.........., which makes "JOHN/JAY" the appropriate SPOKESHOLE for the continuing SELLOUT of Los Angeles Communal/Neighborhood's Heritage (PLEASE read the great Report via the "Yes on Measure S Campaign").
** Who is the Official First Lady (or Ladies) of CD-9? First, City Watch LA, then the LA Times pile on the alleged, "Old Fashion Ways" of Second Term-seeking CD-9 City Councilman Curren Price, regarding his "License (or licenses) to Co-habitat" with the Mrs. of choice. Its obvious that Councilman Price's choice of attorneys (Albert Robles) is the reason for his "current impediment". But don't forget that it was City Council President Herman "Mini Amin" Wesson, who approved the "current boundaries" of CD-9, that made possible the LA Times-endorsed Campaign of Jorge Nuno ......., who may become "Councilman Nuno" on Tuesday.
** Out with the "NANNY SPUD" in CD-5? Lets hope so.

Great mail via the Jesse Creed for CD-5 Campaign, with the Daily News concurring ........, "Creed says he is “running to end the pay-to-play culture in Los Angeles City Hall.” He is pledging not to take campaign contributions from developers or lobbyists now or while in office. Any Angeleno who’s paying attention can agree that the influence of developers’ money in swaying city officials’ land-use decisions is a long-standing scandal. It’s also an issue that doesn’t flatter Koretz".
