A Post CD 14 Election Message from Gloria Molina

Judging from the Post Election Message via Gloria Molina below, she plans on remaining engage on issues touted in her CD 14 Campaign.
Gloria lays out her Post Election Plans.

Dear Friends and CD 14 Residents:
Thank you! I am honored to have had your trust and support – we built a spirited campaign and brought the issues of importance to the forefront – the simplest and most basic of public service – that your elected representative be attentive to basic services and to be responsive to all constituents.
Because of your help, our community has been empowered. We pressed for attention to critical issues – and, during this election cycle, the streets began to be fixed, graffiti began to be removed, the trees began to be trimmed, we saw more police cars on the streets, and the homeless problem became part of the council office’s platform.
Let’s continue to watch over our community so that our issues of concern about homelessness, crime, buckled sidewalks, and basic services are addressed; and so that our neighborhoods and affordable housing are protected from special interests. I am hopeful that we will continue to demand accountability and responsiveness for ALL across CD 14 -- every day – not just during election time!
Sincerely,
Gloria Molina

  1. Gloria has only lost one election; she's not done like Wendy Cruel.

Gloria should run for Mayor...ANYBODY BUT GarSHADY !

Can Mayor Sam do an analysis of how Gloria did in Downtown vs the incumbent, and the effect of the recent gerrymander, new council district boundaries?

  2. Regards Public Safety and reduction of crime that Mr. Huizar alludes happened under his watchful eye, I would argue has more to do with the over 500k firearms purchased in California in 2014. Do you think he will agree? Certainly some good news from PRC. Peoples Republic of Kaliforeignya....

  3. MOLINA is too good of an asset to retire.
She would have raised the bar for future CD14 council persons and candidates.
She is a women of intregaty and is not owned by any big business, developers or special interest group And unions.
Those that voted for Huevon were in it
for what they could get or promised.
Remember that Francine Godoy was also given false promises, god knows what else she may have contracted.
CD14 will continue to be the same and not progress for the future, because the focus now is for downtown L.A.
Now the the election is over we will continue to be neglected as before by
    Huevon.

  4. I was suprised when I saw Huevon flyer on molina.
    It's like CD14 doesn't have graffiti, abondoned
homes, couches and debris on corners, and let's not mention the. Broken sidewalk and homeless.
It's not like Huevon won't triple dip on pensions.
He's just a hipocrate that used taxpayers payers money to promote himself. He makes it sound d like he's a saint with an immaculate CD14.
It's a shame that the Latinos with a big P on their foreheads voted for Huevon.
Beside 11,064 votes is nothing to be proud of.
each community in CD14 has a much greater amount of population and voters.
Let's see it the district will fall in disrepair
    and debris.
We should be mourning the lost of Supervisor Gloria Molina.

  5. She lost because she supports the freeway extension tunnel. That's it. Had she been against it before she realized no in in El Sereno wants it, she would have won.
