Nury didn't like how it sounded that the DJ's smoke machine caused the evacuation of all of city hall, so she blamed it on the tamales. I guess you'll need to decide whether you believe the LAPD Seargent or Nury, who is known to tell a lie or two to get elected.
Is she still under FBI investigation for the iPad scandal, or was that settled as part of the $200 Million settlements for mishandling the Telfair and Miramontes elementary schools' sex abuse scandals while she was on the LAUSD board?
Was there a smoke machine in the room when Nury, Tamar, and Deasy negotiated the iPad deal with misappropriated infrastructure bond funds?
