Friday Free for All: Enemies List Edition
Man and we thought the Burbank Blogger was an astroturfer who got their pants wet for controversial Assemblyman Mike Gatto but the latest pro-Gatto offering makes the Burbank Blogger look like a Gatto hater by comparison.
The Mike Gatto is a Sweet Dude blog is so entertaining one wonders if it's just a big joke. It could be, but it is so pro-Gatto and anti-anything-anti-Gatto as we have heard from other sources boosting the junior Assemblyman. We have our suspicions as to who is behind it, but we'll get to that later.
We'll be profiling various stories from the "blog" but here is the first fun one - The Gatto Enemies List. Chief among those on the list are yours truly and bloggers Phil Jennerjahn and Ron Kaye.
We don't think Gatto is specifically behind the list but one has not seen this level of paranoia since Nixon 72. Or Huizar 2011.

Funny that - how in the end, most of the people on Huizar's supposed "enemies list" (as named by the big LOOOSER, Martinez) actually supported him for re-election.
With enemies like THAT, who needs. . . . "friends"?

The Gatto is a Sweet Guy has some disturbing content. It looks like some kind of mindless worship stuff. And I note an excessive amount of references to the "beauty" and "handsomeness" of the man.
I do not know him and I have not seen him speak. There are plenty of pretty faces in politics. Usually they are lacking in substance because they have gotten where they are due to good looks and not smarts. I wonder if that is true of Gatto.

The Burbank Blogger can at least somewhat claim to be legitimate and makes some effort to cover non-Gatto material. This one is so over the top I can only figure it's a complete gag or it's some true sickos behind it. If I was Mike Gatto I think I would do what I could to go out of my way to publicly distance myself from it. I have seen plenty of spin efforts but this is crazy.
Friday free for all... Michael do you think Mitch Englander had his hand in "starting" a SFV chapter of the Jaycees to take you on? Or did he do it for the same reason he joined all of the other groups?
Also, heard a rumor... Bob Blumenfield is planning to run for cd3. True or false? Does that mean the other rumor that a congressional seat in the valley will be created to cater to the hispanic vote, meaning Berman is the one who retires and Sherman stays?
And what the heck is happening with the Gatto and Alarcon cases?
