It looks like Bernard Parks has won and and avoided a run-off in his City Council race but leftists and the always classy Betty Pleasant don't seem to want to admit it. The unions targeted Parks, further setting up the IBEW as the poster child for why what Governor Walker is doing in Wisconsin is the right thing.
Last Friday the LA City Council got a lot done. They celebrated a belated St. Patrick's Day, Persian New Year and Latina History Day.

I'm surprised you even know what the editorial page is, given that you are regularly unaware of key facts of any given political situation or issue.
It doesn't take a big imagination to see you sitting there with your feedbag strapped to your face as you munch your way to your heart exploding.
Speaking of which, if you haven't had a stress test for your heart, you may want to get that done.
You are ripe for a heart attack or stroke, given the ups & downs of your weight. Sitting in front of the tv, sedentary, for the hours of tv you undoubtedly watch, is bad for your health. Walking for 90 minutes would be great for you, not to mention your undoubtedly overly stressed joints.

You know, Higby, if you stopped jerking around when it comes to elections, and get out of the sandbox with Frank Sheftel, Phil Jennerjahn, and the other nitwits with zero chance of winning, maybe we'd have knocked out one of the low hanging fruits, like Tony Cardenas.
But keep playing "non-radio."
Keep entertaining morons like Phil Jennerjahn, who are fun to laugh at and mock, but who ultimately serve only to distract.
That way, we'll get Englander and others like him, for three terms.
