Friday Free for ALL-eys

Paul Hatfield examines the condition of some local alleys as a sign that the City is in deep doo doo.  In the meantime former scribe and current Paul Krekorian press jockey Jeremy Oberstein has created a very cool blog about alleys.

So what's up yours?

Higby, you still around here? These hit & run half-commentaries twice a week isn't cutting it.

We're going to have to let you go.

This guy is fearless. Talk about shaking up the status quo! He sings great too.

Here is something defending, Mike Gatto, posted a few weeks ago:

"We get it, you're a Republican hack, so you don't know Gatto. The man is a health nut. I'd be shocked if he ever ties one on. That's why your earlier ridiculousness about drugs were laughable to all who know him. In fact, rumor is he let Jacobs go because of her, er, habits."

The strange use of the "er," matches the writing style of THE BURBANK BLOGGER, who recently wrote about Nayiri Nahabedian:
"I didn't win the Assembly seat, but I really do want to hold onto public office, um, er, serve the kids."

I would guess that these two haters, er, writers, are one-in-the-same.

This anonymous crap is a great refuge for cowards.

Most people know who the Burbank Blogger is. Her number could start with 867. You will find many examples of her work on Mayor Sam.

Thanks for the heads up to the Alley Blog - I just subscribed.

3:43 AM - alleys have names in more upscale places like So. Pasadena. They have very idyllic names and many are called "Lanes".

In LA, if an alley has a name that just means it's fair game for parking enforcement, but the City still won't pave it.
