Evening Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Scene for Thursday
Who will be the latest political incarnation of the child born Antonio Ramon Villar Jr. in 2013?
From our sources, we know that the possibility of continuing with the "Villaraigosa brand" is remote, courtesy of the recent final divorce proceedings between Antonio and his now ex. wife Corina.
But as Ron Kaye reports, a possible reverting back to his maiden name of Villar, is not slowing down the process of reinventing the current Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa for post 2013 political escapades. And based upon Kaye's latest post, jet-setting to the latest global photo-ops hot spot will remain a constant as he reports.
The trial run of the post-mayor Antonio Villar incarnation, featured a transformative politico who attacks the teacher unions as being the root of the problem in education, as he did in Sacramento on Tuesday. This from the same guy who use to sit across the table from Former LAUSD Administrator now School Board Member Richard "Dr. Death" Vladovic, as a UTLA union rep, in disciplinary proceedings back in the 20th Century.
We should also remember the soon to be "Green Policy Guru Antonio Villar" who's recent leadership in signing some Municipal Global Warming compact in Mexico City, is most likely responsible for our recent string of record-breaking cold temperatures.
Then there is the "Municipal Economic Guru Antonio Villar" who flew to Chicago to educate the lesser mayors of America on the finer points of his "30 in 10 Transportation Plan". These lesser politicos should remember the part about fast tracking more construction contracts into the hands of unions and campaign contributors that somehow gets left out of our local press.
But whether it is five years from now or ten and multiple telebimbos girlfriends in between, when one peel aways the multi-layers of the child born as Antonio Ramon Villar's political incarnations. They will always find the street -hustling kid from City Terrace known to his homies as just "Tony".
OTHER NEWS:
** Los Angeles County Board of Supervisor Gloria Molina is none too happy with her fellow MTA Board Members who voted to compensate Expo Line contractors $28.5 million dollars for construction delays.
** AEG President Tim LIEweke wants his willing servants within the Horseshoe to decide by March (hear that Jan?), whether to green light his plan to tear down part of the Convention Center and built a neww football stadium.
** What will "Brown" do for you? That will be up for you to decide in a summer special election if Geriatric Moonbeam has is way. BTW, love how all of the "Kennedy Republican's" fellow democratic staffers are being retained by Jerry?
** From the LAUSD Couruption Blotter: Bassam Raslan pleaded guilty to a conflict of interest charge for hiring people from his own company to work on the district's construction program. We seem to remember a upcoming fundraiser for LAUSD District Five School Board Candidate and current School Board President Monica Garcia's Chief of Staff Luis Sanchez. Further, if I remember correctly, the host of this fundraiser are "construction industry types" (TELACU and the Seville Group come to mind). Things that make you go hmmmm.

"But whether it is five years from now or ten and multiple telebimbos girlfriends in between, when one peel aways the multi-layers of the child born as Antonio Ramon Villar's political incarnations."

"when one peel aways"
This isn't just a shame. It's a crime.

Red Spot,
Listen up.
When you write, "Who will be the latest political incarnation of the child born Antonio Ramon Villar Jr. in 2013?," you imply that Villaraigosa was born in 2013.
Does any of this sink in with you?
Retired LAUSD said:
"who use to"
Wrong again, Red Spot.

"Former LAUSD Administrator"
And why, exactly, are you capitalizing "Former?"
Retired LAUSD said:
"who's recent leadership"
Whose idea was it to write this?
Retired LAUSD said:
"multiple telebimbos girlfriends"
Come on, Red Spot. Don't you ever read your sentences aloud before you post?
Retired LAUSD said:
"when one peel aways the multi-layers"
I hate to break this to you, Red spot, but if you have "layers," then by definition, you have multiple layers, and putting in "multi" is redundant.

"fast tracking more construction contracts into the hands of unions and campaign contributors that somehow gets left out of our local press."
Come on, Red Spot! If you have "contracts," then they GET left out. Fool!

Red Spot posted four EXHAUSTIVE stories today.
Guess he has a lot of time on his hands. Too bad he almost always ties in his stories to CD 14.

WTF? People get a f---ing life and enough already. You know Red Spot the saying goes if they're not talking about you......
You should laugh your butt off that these sicko, immature rantings will are getting old. Its obvious you are pushing buttons and getting noticed. Otherwise no one would care and they would go elsewhere but they complain, post and still read

I think you mean (in Red Spot-ese), "exhaust stories."
That's also in keeping with the content -- poisonous gas vapors too toxic to be useful.

I'm no Villar fan, but I don't see any purpose to this article. It's not funny or informative. It's not even decent satire. Just a waste of words, actually.

Scott, you Republican pipsqueaks shrieked like little b*****s when we libs mentioned John McCain's age. "Ageism" is what you called it. But now you go and toss around "Geriatric Moonbeam"? Scott, it would take you ten lifetimes to be as smart or well-accomplished as Jerry Brown. You have zero credibility. (I know that word has more than three syllables. It means your opinions are pretty much worthless.) There's no point in reading what you have to say because you've proven to be a double-talking shill for ANY and EVERY Republican candidate and cause. (To the point, recently, of publishing complete lies you were later forced to retract.)

I wonder, with how illogical CA voters are, will the Geriatric get his tax increases?
I would imagine the unions will be spending millions to get new taxes passed, and corporations will be slimed if they try and match the union money laundering efforts.
Isn't that what the tax increases the Geriatric is shooting for are, a money laundering scheme.
They spent millions on him to beat Whitman, set up the bogus nanny story, now they will spend millions more to get the taxes passed, which will keep public employees on the payroll making union dues, and the cycle continues...
I never understood why government employees need to be unionized. The govt makes the rules... It's just a scam set up by the politicians to get easy campaign dollars. And no Republicans don't get a pass either... Prison unions, police unions, and fire unions money launder for the limited number of elected republicans in CA.

THANK YOU JOSE HUIZAR, GARCETTI, REYES FOR YOUR LAZY ASSES NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS FOR 4 years.
Judge issues injunction against L.A.'s medical marijuana law
The ruling finds the law's provision outlawing all dispensaries except those that registered under the moratorium unconstitutional. It leaves the city with little power to control pot shops. City officials vow to quickly address the concerns

Someone please correct me if necessary. We elected AV as mayor of Los Angeles not for the school board. He has a done a lousy job along with his 15 cohorts in running the city. The residents fall further behind and get deeper in debt yet the unions get fat pensions and big salaries. How many of you out there in never never land can get 90% pension after 33 years? Get real Mr. Mayor and the 15 stooges.
