-Adat Ari El, an 800-family Synagogue, will host a “Meet & Greet the Candidates” forum on Tuesday night, September 1st at 7:30pm. The format is still being worked out, but each candidate will have an opportunity to speak and answer questions, and we will publicize the activity to our membership and the local community.12020 Burbank Blvd., Valley Village.

Now that's what I call progress. Last time you mentioned nothing in advance, and today we get a whole four hours.
At that rate, we'll be getting a few days notice by the year 2016.

Councilmember Richard Alarcon at today's City Council meeting over Special Event Fee Waiver motion that was approved. Sorry Richard, lost that one to the Dogg.
I wasn't dictating, but YES, the people can have a lot more "Zuma Dogg Policy" on Sept 22nd.
OK listen up, Non-Big 3 Council Candidates because this is your chance... if you have any brain at all you'll focus less on Zuma's cardboard box and instead hammer Essel on her phony mailer and make Tamar defend the ethical questions raised by hers.
3:44 has a real "shitty" attitude. No one had any advance notice of this forum, except members of the temple or by word of mouth. This was not well publicized like the others. Any notice for this one should be appreciated.

How about asking Paul to cut the wishy-washy bullshit and take a YES or NO stand on releasing 27,000 criminals into our cities and towns.
Then while he's hemming and hawing over that one, ask Paul why it's so urgent he become Councilman, considering he's all over Twitter today bragging about his Assembly bills.
Attention Crybaby Losers:
SBX3 18 - The bill that passed the Assembly 41 to 35 on August 31, 2009 and sets the stage for release of 17,000+ prisoners into California streets passed without a Republican vote.
But guess who DID vote for it?
The man who Mayor Sam has preferred over his long time friend and political ally, David Saltsburg.
I am sure that Assemblymember Krekorian will be explaining this vote to all of us this everning and for the near future.
Demand is being made for the names of the released prisoners so that they can be tracked. Anyone care to venture a guess as to how many we will get in CD 2?

Maybe Paul should hold a town meeting with his constituents and ask them how he shold be voting on the prison release bills.
He will dance around on this one, saying it doesn't actually release them, but really, it sets the stage for the release and that is all they need to open the taps...

WTF???? Can Greig Smith be as stupid as he looks? Mrs. Doubtfire aka Smith called for the installation of a PIN "duress code" system at bank ATM machines throughout the city, saying such a system might have saved the life of a teen murdered after a robbery attempt July 24.

After speaking out on the "special event fee waiver" abuse on-the-record so much, LA Times and FOX 11 News ended up using my comments this year on the matter, Councilmember Parks finally got Council to DO SOMETHING about it and passed a motion today to help cut out the shenanigans.
Of course alarCON was squirming around, kicking and clawing to keep is shady money pumping, and was throwing out all kinds of deceitful propaganda which completely misrepresents EVERYTHING I stand for and was fighting for on this issue.
So the defeated clown, who had no choice other than to accept the motion that Parks created, that finally addresses the issue I have been rallying for; I guess alarCON blames me for creating the pressure on this motion because he cries (like a crybaby), "I do not want Zuma Dogg dictating policy for the City of Los Angeles."
TOO BAD, DICK! THE PEOPLE DO! SEE YOU SEPTEMBER 22nd!
And at the candidate forum tonight, I got an UPROARIOUS laugh from the crowd when I told the story and said, "So I'm not endorsed by Richard alarCON."
The crowd also BUSTED UP when someone asked a question for the "3 'Prime' Candidates," and I immediately stood up grabbed the mic and said, "Yes, I'm one of three PRIME candidates..." (Insert Uproar.)
Aw yeah!!! I'm offering a $10,000 reward if you can find ONE member who was in attendance tonight who did think Saltsburg was the CLEAR winner. AKS AROUND!
Nice performances/presentations by Essel, Zuma, and the big little guy (don't remember his name) and he sat on the way right side....shoot. Krekorian seemed a uptight, nervous and very aggressive. Galatzan seemed very bland, probably her weakest so far. Michael from Studio City Neighborhood Council was a bit extreme and came off a bit crazy. Shiftel was stronger. The Italian guys always starts his sentences "I don't know," and frankly, I don't know why he's running. Left out a couple but I think I covered the ones that stuck with me.
perhaps you could post the CD2 forums more than 4 hours in advance. Perhaps the day b4 would be useful. trying to find out where these are taking place is like getting Huizar to a meeting on time.
