Rosendahl is a joke. he spends hours in council talking about gays in iraq instead of worrying about the issues that his constituents really care about. if rosendahl wants a fight with bratton he is going to lose.
Everyone should bombard his council office with pairs of old flip=flops.
Perfect beach attire anyway, don't you think? Then he can donate them to homeless beach bums maybe zuma?
Isn't it creepy when Bill tries to talk to some of the young boiz in city hall?
Snarky bunch of gay-bashers, arent't we? Rosendahl shouldn't speak out against those who use sexual orientation as reason to murder? At least he's got the balls to stand up against a bully chief who will jeopardize your safety if not given his way. It's fiscal realism, haters. Why a thousand more cops when Bratton sez crime has fallen to 1950s levels?
Threating to redeploy officers out of Rosendahls district is not a threat against Bill Rosendahl as it is against the residents of Los Angeles. Now that makes Smith, Parks, Zine and Bill Rosendahl. Who knows at this rate the people will not have to gather signatures to put the charter amendment making the position of chief an elected one, the council will do it for us.
Keep up the assaults Billy B, you are giving us Hope for Change.
Rosendahl's never been good at math. He wants so much, but never looks at what it costs, let alone what the citizens of L.A. can afford. Nice guy, lousy leader.
The incredible stupidity of people like 1:52 is why the Rosendahls get elected in the first place. You people are so intent on hating ANYthing Antonio says and does that you'll cut off your nose to spite your face.
Sure, cut funding for cops and then demand more of them in your own districts like Rosendahl did at the December town meeting he hosted with Bratton. Bratton told him them and there that if no new cops are added he'd have to pull back cops, this is nothing new.
But now Rosendahl, Parks and Smith are openly stealing the trash fee hikes WE were promised would go to cops.
If no new cops are added then by mere attrition we'll have 500 fewer this year, that's a fact.
Bratton has done an AMAZING job with as few cops as he has -- maybe if he hadn't, and there was more violence on the streets than there is now, you idiots and those Three Stooges wouldn't be arguing that we can get by with fewer cops. Oh wait a minute, they want MORE cops while they cut funding and hence the force dwindles.
All because they've been fiddling instead of pro-actively managing the budget so now they want to steal the trash tax and the phone tax that Bratton and Antonio put their names on the line to get FOR COPS.
Rosendahl and all these Three Stooges owe Bratton a huge apology and debt of gratitude, not the other way around. Bitter Bernie sucked as CHief and sucks as Budget Committee head and as a councilman. Rosendahl flip-flops on everything and isn't fit to be a leader, period. Smith went on some European Grand Trash Tour and came back claiming taht the trash fee hike was never meant for cops, an open lie. What a sorry trio.
I will give Billy boy credit for at least having the balls to question. However, he's aligning himself with the most hated guys on council. All Bill wants to know is where the money will come from cause he hasnt' seen it for police. He has stated he supports both the Chief and officers. I don't like that he's whinning. Bratton is right stating that EVERY station will lose officers. Veterans officers are retiring at faster rates and they will automatically lose 520. Thanks to asshole Parks who cops continue to despise and his vindicative bullshit attitude who would have ever thought he was a chief? Even the national media make fun of him.
I read the dumb shit Perry is going to side with Parks again on this issue and go against the majority of council. She's another lame idiot who hates Bratton and cops. She gives awards to gang bangers and loves the Nation of Islam morons. She even had a piece of street named after those crazy guys with bow ties who scare the shit out of everyone. Perry is in desperate need of makeover with all her money. word is she wants Bitter Bernie and acts like a school girl around him. UGHGHH

With his support of Weiss, blantant assualts on the men and women of LAPD after MacArthur Park, No helmet wearing in Westwood, Financial Disclosure for Gang and Narco Officers and now threating to move officers out of the districts of councilmembers who vote against him and the Mayor.
Having to redeploy out of evey district due to shortages is one thing, but only moving them out of those of the members who vote against you is a whole other ball game.

Oh please, the only Billy in trouble is Billy R. Can you imagine if he and the Three Stooges (four with Perry and 5 with Zine) managed to piss Bratton off so much he went to a place that better appreciated him? Like ANYwhere else?
He's done an amazing job in reducing crime and improving the local and even international image of LAPD, fixing a lot of what Bitter Bernie and Gates left behind. No one could do a better job -- which is why Wesson hopes to extend his term not reduce it.
Pushing us into a huge search to replace what everyone knows is a unique catch except for the parochial nitwits on this blog AND the 3-6 Stooges would finally get that idiot Rosendahl recalled.
Between them he, Parks, Perry and Smith don't have enough IQ wattage to light a nightlite but their collective egos could light a football stadium.
I like Bill. He listens to me, unlike most of the other clowns in Clowncil.
Does anybody wonder why almost 40%of the entire budget goes to the LAPD where that number in other cities is closer to 25%, who incidentally, show the same decrease in crime as LA?
New York City has laid off 3,4000 officers and yet crime is down over 40% since 2002 and down 13% this year alone..
Why isnt' anyone asking where the hell all the trash fee money is going? Btter Bernie said Friday some is going into the general fund. WHAT??? That was not the reason why residents supported it. Smith, Parks, Rosendahl all stopping LAPD because they fucked up when the money transfers from DWP was decided to be illegal and they had to give it back. How do we find out how much tax dollars of the trash fee has gone into the general fund? Where are those damn lazy reporters in LA? Its a known fact from council members all stations will hurt if LAPD they stops hiring. Say what you want about Bratton but he's very popular and cleaned up a corrupt, out of control dept. Bernie had it run by his gang friends like Deputy Chief Moore who Bernie promoted and was investigated by the IRS for money laundering. Seems Moore's son was a big coke dealer. Wake the fuck up people!!! Bernie loves people attacking Bratton cause he was the worst chief in history.

Hey, here's a wild idea: HOW ABOUT CUTTING THE $680 MILLION PER YEAR THAT GOES TO THE CRA?
Do we REALLY need to give hundreds of millions of dollars every year to developers to build "affordable housing" -- i.e., $500,000 condos that no one is buying -- given the current real estate crash?
Oh, I forgot: the real goal is to scare you into letting City Hall charge you more, whether it's taxes, fees or -- through the miracle of privatization -- parking meters! "Pay up, or we fire the cops!"
This whole drama is a distraction blow to the head of the body politic.
What's with the punctuation? "Most. Cops. Ever." Is someone getting paid by the period, or what?
It's not just the punctuation. It's sort of a hilarious night of a crazy poster who uses bad spelling with their wordy posts. There are tons of run-on sentences and then there's the funnier stuff, like the word, vindicative instead of vindictive, which I'm positive they meant to use.
And how many times can you call him Billy?
Did anyone see Jan Perry walking around the CD 12 Devonshire Divisions' pancake breakfast today with Greig Smith? No? Oh that's right, nobody did. Greig Smith is just having a real hard time gathering the constituents together these days. Nobody was there. It was once one of the top 5 politically community related events in that district. Now it's reduced to Smith and Perry roaming around and the only other semi-important person was one police Captain, Michael Moore, and that's it.
No neighborhood councils, no chambers, no elected officials, nobody.
I hope all neighborhhod council reps show up Monday to council chambers and go after Smith,Perry, Parks. Smith has become Parks bitch. You have to ask what the hell was Perry doing in the valley. could it be she doesn't get any support in her own district?
.....The Councilman for District 12 said that he would rather sacrifice neighborhood councils rather than lose the funding for 40 unknown employees (his claim) out of some 40,000 on city payroll. What he also said was that he didn’t want to lose jobs to T-Shirts, implying that is what neighborhood councils spend their budgets on.
The other at Smith's event was Deputy Chief Michael Moore. I say everyone should boycott anything he has. Smith is a pussy now asking for an apology. These council members act as if they are kings. They have lost respect from tons of constituents. They attacked the Transportation guys last week and Cardenas behaved like a total asshole. This group is the most incompetent this city has seen. Smith is a fucking loser who acts like he's pissed off at the world.
MORE REASONS TO VOTE OUT ALL 15 COUNCILMEMBERS SOON!! THESE PEOPLE HAVE LOST SIGHT OF WHO THEY WORK FOR. THEY NEED TO BE REMINDED BY AUDITING THEM AND PUTTING THERE RECORDS ON PUBLIC DISPLAY. YOU'LL BE AMAZED AT THE REAL TAXPAYER WASTE. ALL THANKS TO THEM AND OUR CITY CHARTER WHICH GIVES THEM LICENCE TO ABUSE.
Cardenas is such an asshole. I can't believe the mayor appointed his incompetent brother to the public works commission. how many family members does he have working for the city? does he have to cry during every god damn presentation? at least his fat chief of staff cornejo has disappeared now that he is married. good riddance.
Bill rosendahl is an embarassment. he hits on all of the cute little boys in city hall and flip flops with whatever way the wind blows. he has been secretly supporting nuch and vahedi but doesn't have the balls to come out publicly. and now he wants bratton to apologize? are you joking? he is a joke.
