Ah, the Imperial Presidency.
In a few decades, we will just do away with Congress altogether and start worshipping the American sovereign, er - President, as a god incarnate.

But remember we were founded as a Republic, and this type of overattention, hyperscrutiny, and mania-like excitement would be most distasteful to our Founding Fathers, and still is, to some of us.
