A controversial federal program that encourages people living illegally in the United States to turn themselves in is being scrapped, after only eight people utilized the program in nearly a month.

Another casualty of illegal immigration...CENTURY CITY HOSPITAL CLOSES IT'S DOORS - FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY!
I hope everyone is truly aware of the catastrophe we are facing...it's a matter of life and death! Your life and my life!!!
I happen to live in Century City, and that now leaves one hospital in my area...UCLA...a great hospital but only 500 beds! With all the illegals and Mexicans...it's Russian roulette to bet on getting medical care if you happen to have an emergency!
Think about it folks...
We just caught another 20 or 30 coming in and being held by the cayottes until the illegals paid their fare. This count of "8" proves there are still more willing to try to come in than those to leave. In Europe the government gives them transportationa and a substancial amount of money...but if they come back and then caught it is automatically 20 years then deportation again. Might work if we pay them to go...we pay to keep them when they are here...which may be cheaper?
Century City hospital isn't closing directly because of illegals, but sort of in that they don't take most insurance plans, or HMO's, just cater to the wealthy and mostly elderly. They limited their market and service TOO much.
Insurance rates are very high but pay out very little to doctors and hospitals relative to charges, because hospitals lose so much to the uninsured or to Medi-Cal. California now pays doctors the least of any of the 50 states -- instead of cutting services to illegals, they cut back on citizens whose insurance becomes almost useless -- long, long waits for a doctor, poor service when they do. No more convalescent or elderly homebound visits, because all the resources are going to county hospitals and schools which are full of illegals.
The Daily News ran a spin story this week which tried to claim illegals actually use ER's less than legal residents, since they rarely report using them to surveyors. HELLO, they just don't report it because they're afraid of getting caught == but go to any ER.
