Open Thread: Is It Over for Hillary?

NY Times: Short of Cash, Clinton Is Forced to Cut Spending

The once-formidable fund-raising machine of Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton has begun to sputter at the worst possible moment for Mrs. Clinton's presidential campaign, Clinton advisers and donors said Thursday, with spending curtailed on political events and advertising as Mrs. Clinton seeks to compete in the last six nominating contests.

UPDATES:

AOL News reports that Barack Obama now leads Hillary Clinton in Superdelegates. Blogger David Knowles says that "many supers were waiting to see if Clinton was going to make a graceful exit from the race. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem like it's going to happen. Therefore, she has put many reluctant superdelegates in the position of having to do the dirty work."

An anonymous blogger has come out of the closet, something we here at the Sister City know a lot about. Former Bill Richardson staffer Ed Espinosa has come out as "Mr. Super," the blogging superdelegate who's been providing anonymous observations and commentary to the world from the perspective of a superdelegate for the past month.

....and how the local "Clinton shill" treats the killing of Jamiel Shaw is a reinforcement of that thought.

She's far from dead. Obama is calling Indiana a "virtual tie." There was no tie. She won it.

Now that the bitch is dead, my euphoria knows no bounds. This election was not about electing a President....it was about stomping out the Clintonistas once and for all!

Now we have the unfortunate task of electing a President...it's a choice between leprosy and cancer...but I'm going with Obama simply because he IS unvetted. We all know what an arrogant, angry, cocky little bastard McCain is...so our only choice is the calm, cool and collected quasi intellectual from Chicagoland. The next four years with Obama will probably turn out to be one big yawn, but it sure beats the alternatives.

Go Obambi!

One big rumor is that if Hillary does lose Bill will run for Mayor of New York City next year. So we may not yet be done with them.

MS...

I hope that rumor is not true! I also heard that Shrillary might run for Governor of New York! Gawd help us all!

I was celebrating the fact that we will NEVER have to watch any one of the THREE Clintons walk out on a stage...and POINT to someone in the audience while feigning TOTAL SURPRISE...again!!! The phoniness of it all! I think that's what turned me off more than anything...(well, maybe not everything...)

Bill Clinton just has a thing about index "fingers"...he's always pointing that long, skinny, oh so bony finger...either from uncontrolled rage... or to a non-existent person in the audience. It drives me M A D !!!

We may just have to face the fact that we are NEVER going to be able to stomp out those damn lying hypocrits...and it looks like Chelsea is being groomed for (possibly) Congress!!!
