She did a COMEDY show on KABC-790 for YEARS.
She's a great girl. Take her comments with a grain of salt. She is on the side of almost everything on this blog.

Mexico's anti-drug coordinator is assassinated...Edgar Millan Gomez, 42, was the third-ranking member of Mexico's Public Safety Secretariat, which oversees law enforcement. Two other high-ranking federal security officials have been shot in the past week in Mexico City.

So when Don Imus (who I can't stand by the way) says something racist it's not comedy?

For sure, look at all the liberal cartoonists who make racist drawings of Condeleeza Rice and other Black Republicans.
If they did that of say Maxine Waters there would be hell to pay.

Miller is a vapid leftie liberal.
She's Janeane Garafola-light; just as ill-informed, but with only half the wattage to process what she's being fed by her neo-socialist handlers.
She takes great joy in making fun of the fact that her dad (William E. Miller) was Goldwater's running mate in 1964, and now Bill's daughter is as far to the left as Barry was to the right).
How is that in line with this primarily right-of-center blog?

People misunderstood that phrase. I was deploring the way in which President Clinton was being treated, vis-à-vis the sex scandal that was surrounding him. I said he was being treated like a black on the street, already guilty, already a perp. I have no idea what his real instincts are, in terms of race.
In decades of being involved in business, community affairs, and local politics, I have always found avowed "liberals" and progressives to be among the most racist and bigoted. And they are on several levels - privately, publicly, and politically.
At the very root of their angst is the seminal belief that minorities (especially Blacks), can't better themselves without the help of a government run by rich Whites who ride to the rescue on their own magic carpets powered by guilt for something they think their great-grandparents did to tip the scales past any hope of equalibrium.
I can't think of anything more racist than that!
Instead of going to nice, polite London to clean up crime, where punks just harass people and have copy-cat graffiti which doesn't mean anything, let our P C top cop Bratton go to Mexico City instead, see what happens and if he even makes it back.
If not, well, maybe someone like Dep. Chief MIchel Moore of Valley Bureau can move up into his place -- Moore actually believes in enforcing the law, has deported some illegal gangbangers despite Bratton and the Mexicans, and is out there arguing against idiot Richard Alarcon for a gang injunction in Sylmar.
We need Moore's kind of policing in the whole city, get him to kick out all those pro-illegal kiss-butts who tie the rank and file's hands.
Modern day Liberalism is predicated on endless supplies of "victims" catagorize by race. Thus you need to reinforce racial perceptions to feed the a constant flow of victims into the BIG GOVERNMENT MACHINE of Liberalism.
No, MS, Don Imus is NOT a comedian, and Stephanie Miller is.
If you attack her, it's ridiculous.
She didn't say the N word or anything else like that. If this crap continues, I and others will be gone. I visit very often and share my views and enjoy this blog. But attacking a comedian and labeling her SATIRE as anything else would be unfair and against what I THINK the blog is trying to be: fair, I think.
From the ashes of the defeat of Barry Goldwater came the conservative movement and the Reagan revolution. And it really started at the 1964 Republican convention when a has been actor named Ronald Reagan gave a stirring speech which outlined the conservative agenda.
I really don't see much difference between this example of Stephanie Miller's and the kind of stuff Jay Leno does on his show, and Jay's stuff is really plain and simple riducule on whatever he can isolate and bring out.
But comedy, a lot of it, is having fun at someone's expense, usually it's not your own, but some do that, too.
