Mayor Sam's Hotsheet for Friday
LA CityBeat covers the upcoming elections for school board taking a look at Mayor Villaraigosa's puppet candidates, Tamar Galatzan, Yolie Flores Aguilar and Dr. Richard Vladovic. The article has some very excellent spin doctoring by former Sister City blogger and Galatzan spokesperson Michael Trujillo. Prediction: Should Galatzan win, at her victory party at the Airtel Plaza Hotel (just guessing on that one) Councilman Tom LeBong will stand up and say "Today is a great day for the City of Los Anna-Less! God bless Mayor Villaraigosa for doing something for the children of Los Anna-Less!"
Want to blog from 800 feet under Los Angeles? It may be a possibility. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is investigating the feasibility of offering wi-fi internet access on its trains. Kudos to Mayor Villaraigosa for proposing the idea.
CityWatch has statements from a number of candidates for the City Council and Los Angeles Unified Board of Education. The positions of those candidates who submitted a response can be found here.

Not to worry - Tamar won't win and there won't be a victory party. Just a coffee klatch while she discusses her CD 2 run.

GOOD BLOGGIN MORNING !!!
OUTTAKES FROM THE RED SPOT INSTITUTE
1. "A BRIDGE TOO FAR ??":
Our citie's program to steer youth away from a life of Gangbanging is on notice that change is needed. CDD's john Chavez has been replace as the head of the LA Bridges Program. Further, "HIS POLLONESS", has decree that funding for the program is only extended to September. Piling on is "ZUMA CHICK(en)", who plans to audit the program. We at the Red Spot Institute commend "ZUMA CHICK(en) for her "CHICK COME LATELY", to the controversy. We also have a source in CDD that Mr. Chavez had "SEVEN YEARS OF WARNINGS" about the "NO GUNS PROGRAM" that was the subject of the LA Weekly article "BROKEN BRIDGES". Time to inplode the "BRIDGE" and start over.
2. "L.A. REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION SUMMIT":
A series of meetings are being conducted by our elected powers to be, over the effect of trade on the surface transportation grid in Southern California. One of the concerns center around maintaining "REVENUE STREAMS" to pay for the cost of our roads. It seems that our "TREE HUGGERS" who drive their "PRIUS" or smaller cars with higher gas mileage, are paying less gas taxes. To people like "PATRICK THE GREEN,(RED INSIDE)", this is how your goverment rewards you for saving "MOTHER EARTH". They want to figure out how to tax you( dollor for kiliwatt mile ??). Feel free to respond.
3."LA ANTONIA TIMES EDITORIAL":
Last night Editorial Page Editor, Andres Martinez was a in-studio guest on the "John Zeigler Show" He opine on the David Geffin affair involving the "CLINTONISTAS" and the "OBAMANISTAS". Yet the one issue he left out was the editorial today where the "OPEN BORDERS ADVOCATES" come out in favor of "ONE BILL GIL" licenses for illegals. I guess "POLLONISTA ANDRES" is keeping the flame burning for the myopic view that excepts lawbreaking.
