Break The Cycle - Vote Pacheco

As Mayor Sam and Martini Republic have both opined already, the clear choice for CD 14 next Tuesday is Nick Pacheco.

Why? Not just because of the trash. It is because Nick is his own man. He has campaigned from day 1 as Nick Pacheco, not the Mayor's whipping boy. We have heard from Nick his ideas and his plans and his opinions on matters big and small. Huizar has been a scripted puppet with strings being pulled from afar. If we wanted more photo ops, I know someone else who would be more than happy to fill in for the CD 14 representative.

While it may seem off to some that the blogosphere is tipping opposite of the mainstream media, it should be noted that by their own admission, the blogs and local print in CD 14 have paid much closer attention to the events occurring throughout this campaign. The lack of support for Huizar even with the "Antonio muscle" behind him from the people actually covering this race should be a clear indictment that Huizar will be nothing more than the status quo.

CD 14 deserves more. They deserve a maverick to stand up for their interests. They deserve bold leadership. They deserve someone who will roll up their sleeves and actually get to work. They deserve Nick Pacheco.

This post is right on point. Jose is a good guy but was not even an average school board member.

When difficult decision come before the board, Jose chose not to lead.

Nick, on the other hand, chooses to lead and, in doing so, sometimes makes enemies. That is what happens when you fight for your district and upset the status quo.

Go Nick!

Even Jose's inside camp are saying he's totally stressed out because he never knew how controlling Antonio would be. Jose can't make a move with AV's approval. Now he realizes it will only get worst if he ever makes council. He's not his own man but a puppet doing and saying what Antonio wants. No man can live like that.

Antonio controlling? Are you serious, he is a puppy. He does tricks, well trained by the Republican mentor-Riordan.

You guys have to wake up, Riordan & Eli Broad have been pulling Villaraigosa's strings since a long time ago.

I think Jose is due for some humble pie! Look at what eating crow can accomplish...Pacheco is now a bit more humbled and values his constituents more than political vendettas. Perhaps losing can refocus Jose on the importance of public service not self service!

I have a 100 more crows for Pacheco.

Which i will feed him until he retires.

Huizar doesn't need to know what crow taste like when you are on the right team.

Since when did this become some fucking "team" sport "be on the right 'team'" use the right toothpaste, drive the right car. Rah, rah, sis boom bah humbug. Go (AWAY) Villaraigosa. You didn't ever really WANT this job, but now you want to control who gets it next.

How about, just for ONCE, CD14 get's a councilmember that on ITS team.

L.A. Downtown News said Pacheco would do anything LEGAL to benefit his district.

That's a HUGE difference after two years or a CM ho would only do what he could get free press for (for his next campaign).

Right Team? Agree with prev. anon, what right team? The one where land mongers take land from future schools and school board member brokers the deal. The team that uses negative tactics as a campaign norm?

The team who has more crooked counsels such as Alvin Parra to pimp their candidate?

Dame un breako!

The "right" team went out the window when he sided with ADV. Don't you know that if you sleep with dogs you're bound to catch fleas...in this case something worse...like political crabs!

If any one had doubts that Hacopian was an AV spy, how do you explain this?

AV, Hacopian and Rick Caruso where seen having dinner together at Petina last Friday night.

You dont need much more proof than that.

What's Huizars? The land contracts?

Pacheco can win this, all a good politician needs is community support.

Pacheco- if this message gets to you, do more voter contact, tell them the truth and expose the lies of Huizar and camp. You have many that support you, remind them to vote. Remind the people of your accomplishments, 18 month term remaining, volunteer efforts, open door policy for constituents, timely return of resident's calls, and most important, that you care enough about CD 14 you are willing to take on BIG MONEY for the benefit of ALL IN THE COMMUNITY.

Way to go Huizar, Alvin really helped out when his wife ran for school board. You're lucky to have him working your campaign. He'll do the same for you too,

Hey you Jose supporters why did Crenshaw High lose its accrediation under his watch, the only high school in 30 years to do so? They knew the school was in trouble 2 yrs prior and that's when Jose was Board Pres of LAUSD.
