Newest Huizar Endorsement

I can't believe I missed this. Thank you to the always helpful tipster for pointing it out.

Yesterday I posted about the "Ass Clown of the Week" award from the NortheastLA Yahoo Group. Just a few messages down was this little gem...

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NortheastLA/message/7917

The focus of my attention...

"I opt for Huizar since he has never had the opportunity to represent CD 14, so we might as well give him a chance. We can always vote him out in four years. . . " -- Freddrick Brito

Name not ring a bell? Here's a refresher.

As our tipster points out,
I wonder if Fraudulent Fred's ("Father Fred") name will go up on Huizar's website in the place where Tony Scudellari's name was just a week ago. There's a "vacancy" needing to be filled.

Please tell me this guy isn't a watch captian of one of the fake 80 NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH ORGANIZATIONS created under fake councilmember CM?

Whats's their motto, "Watch, but don't tell?"

Oh man, you've asked for it now, Mayor F. This guy will be all over the blog like White on Mount Washington.

He'll be sermonizing for days about how HE'S the victim, society is to blame (there are no BAD boys, even when they're 50), and how dare you attack him. JUST GIVE HIM ANOTHER (20th) chance!

Yeesh, I'll be back in a week when his 15 seconds of infamy is up.

I think you may have been scammed, as well, Mayor Frank. The "tipster" was probably the phony priest himself. That photo had to come out of his own scrapbook. These pathologicals always like to keep souvenirs of their scams.

The mayor must have called in another favor to get Huizar this kind of a boost. Federiqkoe also claimed to be very tight with AV a couple weeks ago. Supposedly, AV applauded him publicly about the time (Fred) pulled out as a candidate for a neighborhood council seat in the Northeast, at least according to another one of his imposter ID's (this time a 35-yr-old USC student reporter instead of a UCLA executive). He called himself "Cypress Park's best hope" on a listserf that deals with L.A. neighborhood council issues.

. . ."as we were talking, a few of his friends happened by and spoke to him. Antonio Villaraigoza was one of them. My first question in my mind was, 'Does Antonio know who this man really is?' So I asked him, 'Antonio, how do you know Fred?' He simply responded, "I know him to be a real asset to our community...." As they hugged good-bye, the man who will be Mayor walked off to meet other friends and to order his coffee. The surprising part is how engaged this guy was to Antonio and they spoke as if they were old friends. So I asked him, how do you know Antonio? He said, 'I don't really know his personally. He just knows me from what I have done to help a lot of people across California. I have known him for a long time since he was in Sacramento."

For two years, 249,999 constituents and a half dozen neighborhood councils in CD14 couldn't get a meeting with Villaraigosa, but this guy gets a personal audience. I guess that's honor among thieves. AV stole his CM salary for two years, and this guy stole it from all the charities he conned, and then shamed.

What an incredible rationale for supporting a candidate.

He should get the job because he's never had it before (AND, we have NO idea if he can handle it).

This is pretty much the same rationale that the NE Progressives's used to announce their endorsement before even meeting any of the other candidates. 1) Who's got the best chance of making it past the primary; 2) Of those, which one ISN'T Pacheco!

Can't wait to see how the rabid NELA "progressive"/preservationist throng deals intellectually with letting Huizar, part of the school board that just NUKED the Ambassador, "lead the charge" (his words) in dealing with the future fate of the Southwest Museum.

Try this, Jose... "The site would make a GREAT park-and-ride for the Goldline, once we rip out that nasty 'church-looking' old museum building. Oh and those old-fashioned rock and abode houses that are in the mix somehow, lets ditch those, too.

If he can get AV to stand next to him at the podium when he suggests it, they'll bite.

Sorry about this being off-topic. I am not familiar with this Fake Priest Guy, but I am familiar with NELA.

I am not a long time resident of North-East Los Angeles, but I was surprised to find out how anti-development the zoning is around there. There is a large body of the population that rents, and would probably support more development.

Yet it seems there is a vocal minority of property owners who oppose any sort of development whatsoever.

I know it sounds wtong to talk like this, but what can this community offer to a politician? The residents who have a political voice want the city to dump money into an area that offers little back to the city, or that politician's career.

If some development were allowed, at least concessions could be gotten from developers.

The curly-head is right -- there's way too much "defend the barrio against outside interests" thinking around here. Not just homeowners, but they are probably the worst anywhere. This attitude extends to lots of cranky activist types in ELA and NELA.

Hey, I thought we had lost Mr. 80 Neighborhood Watch Man, but it appears he's back.

For a while, I thought the Pacheco guys were actually working on a campaign and walking precincts, you know, like people do who want to be elected. Not too many votes here.

But it is clear the Pacheco Blogging Team is back in the groove.

Good idea to give them a post where they can actually stay on topic.

Keep it up, Mayor.
