In the aftermath of absentee CD-14 City Councilman Kevin Alexander (of or de) Leon's dismal (but not unexpected) placement in last Tuesday's Mayoral Primary, speculation is (and has been) rampant that the BFF of former Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez, is eyeing another vanity bid for State-wide Office.
Absentee CD-14 City Councilman K.A. (of or de) Leon incredulous that someone would dare expose his ceaseless ambitions for State-wide Office (as noted via his 2026 Lt. Governor Campaign Documentation).
** Blogger's Notes: On this Monday after last Tuesday's 2022 California Primary, the final harvesting of votes is still a couple of weeks away from completion. That stated, its never too early to muse on the winners and losers at the Harvest Ballot Boxes, especially if one of the Vain Losers is newly-bestowed ......, "7% (of or de) Leon". As we note below, the pledge-dismissive CD-14 Officeholder suffered a body blow to his narcissist-rooted vanity, via his dismal, single-digit tally of votes (7.61% equating to 29,268 votes). The CD-14 ramifications of "7% (of or de) Leon's" mayoral ambitions gone ......., puff, means that the North by Eastside Council District's constituents will supposedly have full-time representation once again ........, but for how long?
In the aftermath of "7% (of or de) Leon's" repudiation on Election Day, former CD-14 City Council Candidate Nadine Diaz posted on her Facebook Page, the linkage to a still-active, 2026 Lt. Governor Campaign Account (which has a current cash balance of $3.141,933.73). For the record, the information regarding "7% (of or de) Leon's" Lt. Governor 2026 Campaign Account, was previously made public by recent CD-14 City Council Candidate Raquel Zamora, who was responsible for crafting the following pledge (pictured below) signed by all the 2020 CD-14 City Council Candidates ........., with the exception of the newly-bestowed "7% (of or de) Leon".
How long will Assemblyman (and CD-14 City Councilman aspirant) Miguel Santiago wait before "7% (of or de) Leon", reneges on serving the constituents of his Council District, once again?
** Election Night Losers:
LAUSD Board of Education District Two Candidate Maria Brenes is in big trouble as she finished well behind the UTLA-endorsed Progressive Rocio Rivas, with both candidates heading to a November Runoff, which will decide who controls the majority of the School Board.
Say Hey!! How did former KRLA Talk Radio Host and City Attorney Candidate Kevin James, place on Tuesday?? Who cares.
What if I keyboarded that CD-13 City Councilman Mitch O'Farrell would be the Incumbent Officeholder most likely to lose the Primary Election and have to face a Runoff in November? That is the reality as challenger Hugo Soto-Martinez has taken a lead.
** Election Night Winners:
Despite the subjective stenography and polling from the El Segundo Times, Developer Rick Caruso was the top vote getter (for now) in Tuesday's Mayoral Election. He will face the last of the surviving "Floundering Foursome (which included Joe Buscaino, Mike Feuer and 7% Leon)" Congresswoman Karen Bass-Villar in the November Runoff.
Contrary to the spin from the El Segundo Times, Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva survive a relentless onslaught of race-tinged agenda journalism from the formerly Fishwrap of Record, to face a November Runoff Challenge via Long Beach Police Chief Robert Luna.
If you thought that CD-9 City Councilman Curren Price and CD-1 City Councilman Gil "Broken Deal Cedillo" would be losers ........., so far they are both winning another term ........, at the detriment of their constituents-----Scott Johnson in CD-14.
