Live Blogging of Election Results this Evening

Body willing, we will offer a live tally of the Ballots this evening until the final count. Please note that outstanding Absentee and Provisional Ballots will be counted later, which may play an important role in determining some of the outcomes.

We understand that the City Clerk will release Absentee Ballots results soon after the polls close this evening, you can link here to view the Clerk's Office tabulation of the ballots, which hopefully will be a speed process---Scott Johnson.

** Update: Huizar winning big, along with the other incumbents. Having tech issues, will update in the morning

  1. Mayor Sam is on the job. Thanks and let's hope we see some positive changes in City of the Angels. Huizee posted that he broke his iPhone today. Does that mean he will have a few years of bad luck? In that case, let's hope he doesn't get elected and bring bad luck OR his questionable leadership back for a few more years. Thanks for the great coverage - most enlightening.

    You guys need to do a post-mortem on the CD14 race.

    Why did Molina get blown out so badly?

    I was certain of a runoff, but I didn't follow the race as closely as you guys did.

    What happened?

    Was it the redrawn lines for the district?

    Better mail?

    Obviously there was a huge money advantage.

    Did voters not like Molina to begin with?

    I have not been able to find a post-mortem online thusfar.

    I understand all the other council race results.

    This is the only one that I don't get.
