ReplyDeleteLAPD Capt Bert says enforcing the noise law against churches is against separation of church and state. How is it that churches do not have to follow laws the rest of society does? It is against the US Constitution that government allows a religion to force religion into ones home. That is an government endorsement of religion.
Other areas have said they will not allow Mosque's to blow their noise into homes. There should be no difference no matter what religion. Churches are allowed to be as loud as they want within their 4 walls. They are not allowed to break noise laws or any other laws in the name of religion.
LAPD Capt Bert is totally wrong. It is not a separation of church and state to enforce any law against any religous organization. No one is above the law. He should not allow any law to be broken in the name of religion.
It is NOT separation of church and state. It is LAPD endorsing religion.
