Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Thursday
The bias, subjective, "Old Gray Collectivist Hag on Spring Street" (aka LA Times), muses about Mayor Eric Garcetti's exercising the political norm, by appointing his supporters to City of Los Angeles Commissions.

** Memo to the Gray Collectivist Hag Publisher (disgraced former Dodgers Looting Owner Frank McCourt friend), Editor in Chief, Editorial Board, Columnists and its West LA Blog of Choice, LA Observed, how can a local, former Elite, Establishment Fishwrap of Record, muse (with companion Editorial) on Mayor Eric Garcetti's appointments of campaign supporters, donors, staffers and friends to City Commissions? This in lieu of the recent departure of Sports Columnist T.J. Simers, who's continued satirical musings at the expense of former Dodgers Owner Frank "Boston Parking-Lot Attendant" McCourt and former wife Jaime "The Screaming Meanie" McCourt, drew the ire, allegedly, of the "Gray Collectivist Hag" Publisher (who is one of McBankrupt's remaining LA friends, besides Tony Villar). In addition, the lock-step agenda journalism that passes for "missives of record" at the Gray Collectivist Hag nowadays, cannot mask the fact that the "Gray Collectivist Hag", does not employ one local Conservative Columnist of note. Thus, before the "Gray Collectivist Hag" passes supposed objective, journalist judgment on the appointment process of Mayor Garcetti, they may want to focus on its strinking newsroom/ editor board lack of diversity.
** The First Cousin of former Mayor Antonio Villar, Assembly Speaker John Perez is looking at becoming the "Cali-Greece on the Pacific's" next Controller, come 2014. Speaker Perez had been rumored as a possible 2015 challenger to current CD 14 City Councilman Jose Huizar, who recent ethical troubles make him a target (likewise, Speaker Perez has some fiscal skeletons of his own). "Cali-Greece on the Pacific" voters home and business owners who's property taxes are protected by the late Howard Jarvis Prop 13, may want to know that a Controller Perez will endeavor to make impotent, the collectivist protections of Howard's "Third Rail of Cali-Greece on the Pacific Politics".
** BREAKING NEWS!! Mayor Garcetti has asked LAFD Fire Chief Brian Cummings to Resign, from the Daily News.
Los Angeles Fire Department chief Brian Cummings has been asked by Mayor Eric Garcetti to step down, according to a city source.Cummings spoke with the mayor’s office on Wednesday, according to the source, who was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.
It’s expected that the mayor will announce this week that the chief will leave the department in early 2014.
