The "Not So Private Alliance" between Assemblyman Mike Gatto and Laurette Healey
Infant Assemblyman Mike Gatto gets emotional when asking for Special Interest money.
46th Assembly District Candidate Laurette Healey balancing support of Assemblyman Mike Gatto.
As we near the two week mark until election day, the intuitive (a minute number these days) voter will take to reading mailers and campaign websites to educate themselves on the best candidate to support on election day. Judging of candidates may include browsing lists of endorsements from various community members and elective officials but some endorsements of elective officials aren't meant for public knowledge...... like Infant Assemblyman Mike Gatto's support of Laurette Healey. This email between Infant Assemblyman Gatto and Healey was supposed to be private but .........
Just more background for the informed voter in the 46th Assembly District.
Your thoughts ..............

Wow, you connect an October 13th 2011 email from Gatto to a couple of Indian donations in May 2012? This is a complete non-issue. Look! Adrin Nazarian has taken thousands of dollars from businesses that don't have a name, and are only reported as "1642 Las Palmas, LLC Los Angeles, CA 90028" or "631 Victory LLC North Hollywood, CA 91601". Stop the presses!

No wonder the state is in such trouble, with people like Gatto in Sacramento God help us all.

Gatto is attempting to support all of the candidates. He originally was expected to be for Nazarian as part of the deal for Paul Krekorian to endorse Brad Sherman. Then he was quoted as telling people that Andrew Lachman was the best qualified candidate for the job and he has also said publicly that Brian Johnson had the best resume of any of the candidates. You read way too much into an email. He was just making nice and wants everyone to believe he is on their side.

I THINK YOUR SEEING WHY I WANT TO ELIMINATE ANY ENDORSEMENTS FROM U.S. POLITICS. THESE GROUPS ARE THE SPECIAL INTERESTS WE ALL SCREAM ABOUT. THEY ARE BUYING CANDIDATE FAVORS AT THE EXPENSE OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC. LAURETTE COMES AT YOU WITH ALL HER ENDORSEMENTS BUT DOES SHE SAY TRUTHFULLY WHAT SHE BELIEVES OR STANDS FOR YOU WON'T SEE IT ON HER CAMPAIGN LITERATURE. WE NEED TO HAVE PEOPLE RUNNING WHO WIN VOTES NOT JUST FOR WHAT THEY TELL YOU, BUT COME WITH PROOF OF WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. TOO MANY POLITIANS WIN BECAUSE THEY ARE THE BETTER LIAR THEY HAVE MONEY TO TRICK THE PUBLIC BY PRESENTING THEMSELVES AS THE TOP CANDIDATE. THE PUBLIC NEEDS TO GET WIZED UP ABOUT THE REAL MECHANIC OF CAMPAIGNS AND WHY WE WON'T FIX OUR PROBLEMS UNTIL WE ADDRESS CAMPAIGN REFORMS. AND GET THE MONEY OUT OF POLITICS !
