Nuclear power cannot work in fault zones. And since they need to be near bodies of water, for cooling purposes, it cannot be inland.
In short, this is why we need to drill the fuck out of ANWAR and the Gulf side of Florida.
The U.S. has underground oil that could last us 100 years. And we have several centuries worth of natural gas.
I hate to quote Sarah Palin, but "drill baby, drill," is the way to go. Just be careful doing it.

Drill for oil but just be safe doing it? Haven't we shown that we have a problem doing that?
