BREAKING NEWS!! Mayor Villaraigosa breaks elbow in cycling accident
Mayor Villaraigosa will grimace when bending elbow for near future.The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, broke his elbow in a cycling accident this evening.
The mayor was riding in the bicycle lane on Venice Boulevard in Mid-City at about 6:50 p.m. when a taxi abruptly pulled in front of him. The mayor hit his brakes and fell off the bike.
He was transported to Ronald Reagan/UCLA Medical Center, where he was treated for the broken bone.
By 10 p.m. he had been released and was resting comfortably at Getty House, the mayor's official residence.

They wanted a $20 donation. They should have said free and then just put donations accepted.

I'm a Latino and thousands of us in LA support AB 1070 and Arizona and we are not racist. Walter has the same opinions about illegal immigration as we do. So if we're Latinos and we're against illegals how can WE be racist. Take a drive downtown, MacArthur Park, Eastside, Echo Park and look how the illegals live like pigs, steal identities to get jobs, steal from employers products then sell them on the streets, drive without a license or insurance, hit and run and then take off just like the couple who hit USC student, boy in South LA,

Who Cares really? I bet he is glad Nationalized health care has not sunk in because he would be paying for his own x-ray since the Federal government overseeing board would think it excessive. The worst Mayor ever just look at the destruction he has wrought on this City under his reign...
If the taxi driver that hit the mayor was Zac Champommier, he would have been executed. Unfortunately for Zac, on June 24, 2010, mayor Antonio was not part of the "multijurisdictional task" force that killed Zac for accidentally hitting an officer with his car.
