Would a President Obama be good for Conservative Commentators?
Should Barack Obama win the Presidency and inherit the trillion-dollar economic problems, the war in Iraq~Afghanistan, and all the other problems we face, such as healthcare and corporate greed, will it be good fodder about unfulfilled promises for conservative commentators like Michelle Malkin, Pat Buchanan and Jonah Goldberg? Would you accept a President Obama saying, in 2010, that he will need a second term before any improvements can be felt?Who do you see running for President against Obama in 2012?
And for the optimists, who would run against McCain (or Palin) in 2012?

Yikes! Does this mean that you've gotten to the point where you're assuming that Obama will be elected president, and now you're thinking about 2012?
Don't give yet. There's always the race card and an aggresive get out the vote effort at the trailer parks and among the racists and those who can be motivated by trumped up fears.

Donald Trump told CNN today that President Bush should have been impeached for lying about Iraq and the war.

Rush Limbaugh rose to fame during the term of Bush 41 and when Clinton was elected and the Democrats in charge of Congress everyone said it was over for Rush.
This year Rush signed a $400 million contract to keep him on the air another several years. That salary is more than Katie Couric, Brian Williams, Charlie Gibson and Diane Sawyer combined.
So a President Obama (yuk, can't believe I said that) could be very good for conservative bloggers and commentators.
Of course President Obama will be good for conservative bloggers, and will a Demoratic congress. It relieves them of the need to come up with solutions and defend the White House. All they have to do is criticize, but I think the Democrats will accept that trade off.
In the continued interview with CNN, Donald Trump wouldn't stop talking about his anger with Bush and his support for the war. He said he would give Bush an F- for his actions in Iraq.
What grade would you give Bush on this subject?
Getting back to your "Socialism Kills" posting after Monday's bump in the stock market, do you understand now why some readers tried to convince you that it wasn't going to last any more than one day?
Tuesday was flat, and today was a huge drop.
Obama continues to surge and McCain continues to tank on Intrade.

Again, the market is a chicken and the egg situation; MY assumption is that the markets drop in anticipation of an Obama presidency.
Also, no, I am not assuming anything 3:16pm. I have to come up with a proposition for the post, so, the proposition is IF there is a President Obama, not THAT there is one.

I think Haikula has it close to right in her 3:53 comment. IMHO, if Obama wins, I predict the stock market will drop at a right-angle, with investors anticipating getting taxed into the graveyard.
If Joe wants to nitpick about a perceived grammatical error, instead of the content, then he should be prepared for a response.
Moreover, you've probably figured out by now that he's posted Christopher Buckley stories that are days-old, and were previously covered on this very same blog.

My point was that it is interesting that you chose to begin a thread about who should run against Obama in 4 years, as opposed to a discussion about the present concerns, such as what McCain needs to do to win this race.
I has all the signs of someone who has given up.
So back to the question: What would you advise McCain to do? The day after the election we can get to the what if question about 4 years from now.
