Culinary Violence for Lunch, Anyone?
Have you seen the new Del Taco advertisement? (click the link and then click on the television in the lower left of the Del Taco website)I get the idea that Del Taco's new taco has some "kick" to it. But imagine the blowback there would be if the Del Taco customer was a woman, or child, or person of color, and they get kicked in the private parts.
As a woman of color, and I see no humor in violently attacking a white man. Or anyone else.
Imagine if the customer was a black woman being sodomized, or a child's nipple being pinched. Yes, I know that there will be Cardinal Mahoney jokes on the horizon, but that's the point. It's not funny when it's done to anyone.
That having been said, where are your favorite "illegal" taco trucks parked and what's your favorite dish?

Boy ! This premise is a real reach even for Haikula. Of course one has to give props to those 4 or 5 Mexican martial artists for their uncanny ability to "reach" the pinnacle. The larger overview of this post is either a case of Haikula's "testicle envy" or her secret wish to deliver just such a "blow"...

2:38, you missed the whole point if you think this is about "testicle envy" or anything of the sort.
It was a commentary (apparently not a good one) about how the white man is the only whipping boy left in society. There's no way that the commercial would air with a woman of any sort, or a man of color.
