The No Home Depot Film Festival
Welcome to the No Home Depot Film Festival!
Tonight we have 2 riveting films that shed some light on the LADBS, LA City Planning, and, of course, Home Depot. You will get a rare glimpse into the secretive world of Neighborhood Councils, and the "Alice in Wonderland" logic of LADBS, not to mention the chance to see Council Member Greuel smack down Home Depot!
Grab some popcorn, sit back, and enjoy!
Our first film is "Abby Grills The LADBS" ( 6 minutes) ( mature content, parental discretion advised).
Our second feature is " Revoke The Permits, or Wendy Unleashes the Hounds" ( 30 seconds)( rated G).
Wasn't that fun?
Coming soon; " Scott Svonkin Plays the Race Card", aka "The Dakota Communications Tragedy", "How to Squeeze Lumber through a Tiny Door", and " Antonio & Bob, A Love Story"

Let me ask this,
How would Wendy benefit if permits are revoked?
What other plans do Gruel and Mighty Midget have for this X-Kmart space?

Yeah, thanks for the disrespect by keeping those idiotic ActiveX wizards popping up and wrecking up my PC.
Don't worry about my PC, I can use a Firefox browser that won't crash it.
Now, post something interesting, like EAA drinking another lethal dose of Bobby Aquino-flavored Koolaid.

That was like watching "ERIN BROCKOVICH" without the cleavage!
Good job guys!

It is not so much about how she will benefit (nor should it be), but more about how she will suffer if the permits are not revoked.
If Home Depot's permits are not revoked, then Greuel's career is
over, at least in this town, and others as well.

Target is intersted in the K-mart space and this would enhance our community. A home Depot belongs in an industral area and would drag this community down, no matter how much Home Depot lies about it, and everything else.
You go girls!

Well, some may want a Target. I would raise their sights to a Macys, Penneys, Sears or Kohls. But agreed, anything is better than a Home Depot - unless of course, we end up with one of Wendy's and Gail's urban villages with three to six story townhouses.
You ought to see the view from this property. It should be preserved and is the perfect place for a couple of class restaurants built to take advantage of the magnificent view.
So, how about a Macy's, some class act stores, a movie theater and two or three top restaurants?
We have room for it all and still have oodles of parking!
