Finally Sheriff Baca will have some competition when running again. His time is up. He should have never used taxpayer money to buy a plane. The early inmate releases is going to hurt him.

Are inexperienced City Attorney(Rockard Delgadillo) is at it again. He's not practice law long enough to do the job and he's only a friend of slum lords.
City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo got a visit at home Friday from tenants facing eviction from the Lincoln Park Garden Apartments in Venice. The Venice Paper says that about thirty of the residents pitched a tent on Delgadillo's front lawn. Two hours later he invited the leaders in for a meeting. Afterwards, Delgadillo came outside for a chat and (apparently) a photo op. The Venice Paper has been all over the development flap that threatens the apartment complex.
I think Nick Pacheco should run for City Attorney. Rocky has proven to be a failure.
So you want Nick? Let it go. He clearly does not have broad community support, otherwise he wouldn't have gotten his ASS handed to him.

I didn't support Jose but unlike some I am going to support him now that he's our councilman. To the anons posting negative, mean things about people get a life. You're showing how uneducated you are, how insecure and immature as well. Grow up. I'm sure you are one to talk.
When you decide to go into public life, you open yourself up for ridicule. If you get handle that, don't run.
Ridicule people on the issues, their stance and opinions but why attack them personally and their families? Because you have nothing factual to say to debate.
