Anyone know if Hahn has had a meltdown yet today?

What are the Hahnistas going to do when Jimmy goes down?

No Hahn meltdown today. None was needed. John and Ken were running his last meltdown all night yesterday.

FROM "SACRAMENTO NIGHTIES" earlier; fooled me two.

********

I can't say it's been fun OR educational; more like working a suicide hotline alone on a rainy Thanksgiving day. . .

Regardless of outcome, THIS blogger won't be back! If by chance I'm right and ADV® loses (again) - it's not a real "win" because he's still the "honorary" CM for CD14 -- plus, I don't enjoy gloating. Also, it's not a "game" to have the communities you love neglected so criminally back home.

If I'm wrong (sorry -- you can't call it "sour grapes" in advance. . .), and on July 1 Attention-Deficit Villaraigosa becomes the least-skilled mayor in the history of this great city, then have a blast gloating behind my "back" -- I won't give you the pleasure of my checking back to see.

But, THEN. . . look up the phrase "Pyrrhic victory" and memorize it well -- because based on every ounce of history and factual data, ADV®'s move into the Mayor's office would be the last "movement" the city sees for many years.

Retiring "SacramentoNighties" also means a few other "identities" are no more. If you hadn't started to suspect, then that explains why the ADV® con job has so easily fooled many here. Also checking out are:

"Anon-In-the-Know"

"Republican-Against-ADV"

. . . and a few recurring anonymous posters that I just think of as:

-- "ADV® is a pathological liar; prove me wrong" (and no one ever did)

-- The "80 INVISIBLE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCHES" taunter

-- ends every post with "HA!" derider

-- "no charge for that, Jim Hahn" (also true)

... plus a couple I can't really characterize with any specific.

L.A. DOES deserve better than James Hahn, but no city deserves what being "led" by ADV®'s incompetence would entail.

Hasta Muchachitas!

The Times' live group blogging has now posted its third consecutive blog entry by a Republican. How is this, in any way, representative of Los Angeles' current political culture?

It's like getting Jim Hightower, Ralph Nader and Amy Goodman to guide readers through the ins-and-outs of the Alabama Gubernatorial race.

9:09 pm; you should know Mr. Hahn should be up 10 or so points here to have any chance. He was up by 4 in the primary and finished 10 points behind Antonio. It looks more and more he is indeed going to be bounced out; deservedly so. We won't miss him.

Time to start the ADV lovers drinking game, how many times will they same the same, trite, uncreative phrases to gloat that they always do..like a couple have already started to. like going down, or get over it, or life will go on, or lights out, or kicking the (something) out of Hahn,. They really must all be city workers with bad cases of arrested development.

i think what 9:34 meant is that AV was winning at polls vote so far 61-39. (looking at city clerk site, cds 1, 4 and 14 have most precincts in). with absentees, it's 53-47 AV

Look at where the votes are coming from -- largest numbers are from Eastside, so far (closest to downtown). Hahn's stronger areas are in the outer ring, further out. Only 5 percent of Harbor area is in vs. 22% in CD1 and 12% in 14.

Seriosuly I can get over it, I've lived in his district and know how to get things done without his help - the way youn have to. It's the rest of you that are in for a huge surprise.

It all comes to a halt now, just like dozens of projects in Cd14. Still sitting there, no movement, no plans, no hope.
