Santa Clarita Dumps Homeless On LA
A recent Daily News story reports that those lovely folks in the City of Santa Clarita (which is Spanish for "Our sh-t doesn't stink.) have developed a plan for the city to pay church groups to bus homeless folks to the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles proper.
What's next? A one way monorail from Magic Mountain to Compton for their ever growing number of gang members?

Thank god someone came up with a solution for the homeless problem in the SCV. This has really been bothering our soccer moms as they try to negotiate their SUV's around town. Seems only fair since we're just a tiny bedroom community of the omnipotent City of L.A. that we send these folks back to the living room for awhile.
You're welcome for us letting your gansters come to MM to spend some of their hard earned cash. At least they're not shooting up Compton for awhile.
If Santa Clarita wants to live as a big city, then they have to step up to the plate. As the city grows, its natually developing its own homeless, its own gang problem. Its up to them - not LA - to solve their own problems.
Otherwise, they should have just left it as big open space with some trailer parks. The folks that were there before were happy before latte sipping LA refugees brought LA with them.

Look, at least they're dealing with homeless problem. You may not like the solution, but it's going to clean up their city. What have LA City officials done? They built the Staples' Center and pushed the homeless aside. They're building up downtown LA without and arresting the homeless. You call that leadership?

Bus all the homeless from LA, Santa Monica, Burbank, Santa Clarita to Palmdale. Set up shelters at the airport land and have them get the place ready for when Mayor Jim is unelected and the airport plan is cancelled. There will be lots of jobs for skycaps, ticket takers, etc.
In fact, SEIU could ride out on the buses and start signing them up now!
Where did the hgomeless come from? It makes sense for people with no homes to migrate to areas where they will fare better than where they hail from. However does that make them the responsibility of where ever they lay their refrigerator box? In that case SCV should ship them to Beverly or Honby Hills. They have far more money and should be able to give the bums a better package. As far as Magic Mountain goes the gang-bangers should be arrested and shipped back to the jail in LA.
