R were too stupid to understand what they - the elitists - knew. So we need a "lesson" at our own expense, in court, to set us straight.

Thanks, "Daddy" - I'm so glad I have litigious protectors to make sure my vote ends up not counting.

We just don't know what's best for us - but of course, you do.

I voted for Prop. R to bring some stability to local government and stop the idiotic revolving door that has career buffoons like Alarcon changing chairs every couple years and yet still dumping mediocre government on us, serially, at every level.

I know what it meant to vote that way, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. And, I resent the non-stop arrogant insinuations that everyone (like me) was too stupid to really know what was going on.

Term limits are anti-democratic to begin with. They deprive me of choices I have every right to expect. Eventually, when/if all the rampant paranoia finally dies down, they'll all be overturned.

I should be able to vote for the candidate of my choice - each time, and every time - regardless of which term they're in. And, no legalistic BS should be allowed to put a "stale date" on that right!

Sic semper elitists!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8826939.post-15063454546975932802008-08-28T08:49:00.000-07:002008-08-28T08:49:00.000-07:00...David Hernandez and his legal team let the Meas....
.
.
David Hernandez and his legal team let the Measure R case be delayed this long, an amateur move.

"We will not go quietly into the night," he writes.

You already have.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8826939.post-69084588476353283092008-08-28T08:30:00.000-07:002008-08-28T08:30:00.000-07:00After reading Ron Kaye's excellent summary of the ...After reading Ron Kaye's excellent summary of the Prop R hearing, it looks like Los Angeles will be found to be No Man's Land in terms of state lawlessness.

R.I.P.
