Usually the conversation centers on avoiding traffic congestion, not becoming grotesquely polluted, and generally avoiding becoming a horrible place to live. If Walter Moore ran against Mayor AV today instead of 13 months ago, would AV still avoid a run off?

Secondly, Koretz said in a primary debate that the investigation of Jamiel Shaw would probally show that he was a gangmember himself. He said it three times, yet none of his opponents made an issue of it publically. How does Koretz bash a 17 old dead boy and get away with it? Bet his opponents would love to have a second bite at that apple.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8826939.post-28587947657047610852010-05-20T15:43:52.864-07:002010-05-20T15:43:52.864-07:00I was born and raised in Arizona and left only bec...I was born and raised in Arizona and left only because of the low-wage, right-wing politics that have reared their ignorant heads of late. If Zine and Trutanuch did NOT know the difference between city and county, they're even more lacking in education than they act and speak - but they knew, they were as usual trying to deceive the public for personal gain.

Walter Moore drafted Jamiel's Law for the Shaws, demanding that anyone stopped for any other violation be checked for legal status and turned over to ICE if found lacking. In fact the Shaws have stated that anyone should be checked for illegal status as an independent criminal act on its own, which is MORE extreme than the Arizona law as it now stands. The current law is like the "Zine's motion" that the Bald One crafted to get his name on it. And some think, to take away the spotlight from Walter Moore.

Jamiel's Law is the same thing that Zine, Trutanuch and Moore's running mate Berger, demanded. Berger the outspoken and muckraking cockney David Berger who now has a plum job for Nooch because of his attack dog work for him on the campaign, frequent guest on Kevin James, with whom he openly sees eye to eye.

Zine NOW voted with the majority of Council, not having the guts to stay consistent. Trutanuch and Cooley are hanging their heads, hoping no one remembers a year ago.

Joe B, why do you give Zine and Trutanuch a pass? That blowhard who sank as low as possible for Trutanuch, actually has the nerve to think he should be Controller.

And Cooley - as he runs for the top job as Attorney General, where he can be even more dangerous? MORE of a phony-pious sanctimonious tool? Trutanuch threw everyone under the bus soon as he got elected - do you want to give him a pass on THIS too?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8826939.post-74267927038100710122010-05-20T11:37:19.295-07:002010-05-20T11:37:19.295-07:00Does Austin know about this?

In the letter and in the radio interview, Pierce never threatened to cut power delivery to LA.

Pierce noted that the LADWP is a part owner of at least two generating plants in Arizona, and had a perfect right to get power from those plants.

Pierce said that if LA were true to its principles, it might
sell off those Arizona power plant interests to other entities.

Pierce said there were plenty of other interests who would buy the LADWP interest in Arizona generating plants.

But since that will never happen, Pierce said LA should stop trying to cause economic harm to the people of Arizona.

Pierce sounded to me a lot more reasonable and mature than Mayor Villaraigosa, Janice Hahn or Ed Reyes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8826939.post-35481459850269481122010-05-19T22:46:19.017-07:002010-05-19T22:46:19.017-07:0010:34pm,
