You and Mr. Dogg are both honorable men, as are all those poor souls on the 4th Floor.

The whole point of my comments is and shall continue to be a call to arms of the ordinary citizen against the abuse and waste of our local government. Politics does have a genteel side, and for too long there has been nothing but cavalier treatment of "the little guy", savvy?

Democracy was built upon three words "We The People". Not just one group in particular. Villabarbosa and the Clowncil have forgotten that it is We The People who put the monies into the City coffers that is spent in pursuit of a consolidation of power. Villabarbosa and the Clowncil also forget that it is We The People who make the ultimate decision with our vote.

Those who I have stated should walk the plank are named because they have neglected to follow the law that governs us all, the State Constitution, and instead sold their constituents down the river with AB1381. They inserted themselves into City politics with their actions...Romero and Nunez. Deleon, who is running for an office within the boundaries of the City was added for his role in supporting Romero and Nunez. He did so publically, and willingly. Padilla was added because of his role in the Clowncil antics and his quest to do the same in Sacramento. Cedillo was added at the request of an anonymous citizen, but he too supported Nunez and Romero and Villabarbosa in AB1381.

Those up for re-election this year on the Clowncil will have their turn before the voters in March. Hence, the rest walk in March.

Good people, it is not about race. It is about standing up and speaking out against unfairness, closed door politics and greed. This is YOUR city. I am but a pirate seeking to help you, the common man (and woman) retake it. Although it was rather amusing to watch a certain mid level manager in City Hall pull upon his hair with frustration. That part of the job I do enjoy.

As for the two that walked the plank. You were correct about one of them. Good form! The other finally gave up and jumped this morning. Pirates have a code of honor to follow. That and loose lips sink ships, savvy? Look for someone treading water and calling for help and you will find your second minor scoundrel.

In closing, the time has come, ladies and gentlemen, to either stand upon the deck and be counted or be left behind. We've already amassed a sizeable crew and will sail with as many as it will take to do what is right and for the good of the City. This is the last call, are YOU willing to sail with a pirate crew?

NUNEZ, DELEON, PADILLA, CEDILLO AND ROMERO WALK THE PLANK IN NOVEMBER. The rest walk in March.

Mr. Dogg, the soap box is once again yours.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8826939.post-1159305002525526552006-09-26T14:10:00.000-07:002006-09-26T14:10:00.000-07:00I am super bummed that I missed the comments. With some residents convinced that current regulations already favor developers, afraid of land speculation and substandard projects, and likely to oppose local rezoning, some experts are cautious about the mayoral plan.

''A lot of developers will just drop out. You have landowners that are holdouts and developers who say they can't wait,'' noted former Transportation and Land Use Collaborative of Southern California director, now Cleveland-based Forrest City Enterprises Vice President Katherine Perez.

''This sounds like a really ambitious agenda,'' observed National Center for Metropolitan Transportation Research Director Genevieve Giuliano. ''In some of these areas, there are going to be issues with existing neighbors that are not going to want high-rise development. This will really be challenging.''

Friends 4 Expo light-rail advocacy group co-chairman Darrell Clarke concurs. ''The devil is going to be in the details,'' he commented. ''We have a lot of developers that build boxes. The question is, will they (the projects) really be transit-oriented development or put more cars on the street? Will they have amenities and will they fit into the neighborhoods?'' -- Daily News 9/3/2006Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8826939.post-1159289504409022832006-09-26T09:51:00.000-07:002006-09-26T09:51:00.000-07:00The connection to the mayor's office is that some ...The connection to the mayor's office is that some of the terrorists who attacked Mayor Sam are supporters and friends of some of the Mayor's staff - the same one the other terrorists hate. When you have a stand-alone site, spam is more of an issue. Our spam-catcher catches between 250-450 comments a day that are only there to tout medications or online casinos. Wherever you have a blog, at blogspot or in a community or standing alone, spam and trolling are both enormous headaches, but something we must attend to in order to stay vibrant.

I've much admired the free-reign policy here at MayorSam.
